It sets out what you should do to comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). This edition brings the document up to date with regulatory and other changes.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded an Alan Butler Bronze award for our entry in promoting health and safety.

The judges were impressed with the caibre of  our entries and the work of the group as a whole.

2015 CDM regulations and guidance now available from the HSE website

The draft CDM 2015 Regulations, and ‘L’ series CDM guidance are now available from the HSE website. Industry guidance can also be downloaded from the CITB website www.citb.co.uk/cdmregs
Note these will be draft documents and subject to amendments before coming into force on 6th April 2015.
There will be a requirement for all construction work to have a construction phase plan (regardless of size and nature of the project) and that domestic client work will be in scope
Additional guidance on construction phase plans for contractors working on small scale, routine and domestic projects will be provided by HSE in the form of a busy builder leaflet and plan template.
